Paul Alexander Mecinski

Paul Alexander Mecinski was born on August 25, 1976 in Baltimore, Maryland, and died in the city he loved on November 11, 2014.  He lived every one of his 38 years with gusto.  Kind, generous, funny, razor-sharp wit, sensitive, caring, sentimental, nostalgic, warm, stubborn, opinionated, dependable, loving...these are just some of the words I think of when I remember my little brother.  He was one of a kind.

There is a well-known saying..."your life is made of two dates and a dash.  Make the most of the dash."  Paul certainly did.  We invite Paul's friends and families to share those moments..."the stories between" his birth and his death.  Fond memories, anecdotes, funny or silly things he said and did, photos... these are the moments we want to remember and celebrate.

The great poet Khalil Gibran once wrote, "When you are sorrowful, look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight."  That is the spirit of this page.
