Some of my fondest memories of Bo are the many week long visits he would spend with us at the farm. Although he was raised in Baltimore, he was 100% farm boy. He loved fishing, riding four wheeler, exploring the woods, unloading hay...well not so much unloading hay, but anything that involved being outside. We never had to find things to keep him occupied or schedule action packed days to fill the time. He was content with going to our local restaurant for breakfast, where he ordered the same thing every time "The Southern Boy" and watching scary movies every night. As soon as we would find out that he would be staying with us, the boys would start researching the latest scary movies...which brings me to one of my favorite memories. First off, I HATE scary movies!! However, I knew that when Bo came I'd be watching one...like it or not. One night we were all sitting super close together on the couch watching The Grudge, when out of nowhere Bo screamed!! This wasn't one of your manly, deep screams. It was the most feminine, high pitched scream I had ever heard. After the rest of us finished screaming from being startled at the noise we had just heard come from him, we just laughed. Every time we would tell the story, he would swear that it was only because he was the closest to the TV...sure Bo, whatever you say!! We are going to miss those long visits so much, are thankful for all the memories we are left with.
