I recall when she was 8 or 9 years old when she found an injured frog and how she wanted to help the frog get better even though she was told nothing could be done. She was determined though. Of course, the frog eventually died. She buried the frog by their flower garden stating that the frog would provide nutrition to the flowers in the garden! Imagine that...she was 8 or 9 years old!
