Judy and her family are staunch supporters of Susan G. Komen and the Race for the Cure in Hunt Valley. Her team "Stay Strong Judy" (SSJ)has been a top team at the Race for the past several years. But more than that, Judy and her entire family are good friends of the organization. They are always willing to speak out about the breast cancer journey and its affects not only on the person in treatment, but family, friends and caregivers. Their stories provided comfort and education for thousands of people in the local area through media interviews. Judy and her family were always all smiles and positivity when we met with them, and were a source of inspiration for us at Komen Maryland to continue the work we do to provide services for those affected by breast cancer and contribute to national research.
