I wrote this letter to Judy and read it to her today. I was asked to share it on this page, so I gladly said yes. I love you Judy.
My Dearest Judy,
It's not easy to put into words the impact you and your kids have had on my life. You are a beautiful person inside and out and I am so grateful to have been part of your life for so many years. You are such a special person and you have been an inspiration for me for so long. You are a kick ass mom who raised two perfect kids, while simultaneously battling the toughest battle there is and starting the most inspiring and selfless organization, Caring On. You set the world on fire and you have made an impact on the world and me. I promise I will take the best care of your kids and be the best role model I can possibly be for them. Just like you asked me to. I'll make sure that Reese doesn't get too sassy or take rides in Ubers when she isn't supposed to. I'll make sure that she knows she is beautiful and deserves the absolute best. I'll make sure Trace laughs his adorable laugh as much as possible and sees that the possibilities are endless for him. I'll always play the board games he loves and I promise I will always let him win. You have fought the longest, hardest battle imaginable and you have done it with the utmost grace and positivity. I'm so grateful to be able to call you my friend. I know that you will be by angel who will watch over me to make sure I not only live life to the fullest, but also find the best guy that "deserves my time", like you always used to say. You've inspired me to live life the way you did, with such positivity and energy even when times got tough and unbearable. Thank you for always being there for me when I've needed a friend. I love you so much Judy and I will never, ever forget you my beautiful sunshine.
