I did not know either deputy but am forever grateful for their service. May their families find comfort and peace in knowing they were true heroes and gave their lives in order to save lives in their community. My father spent his career in law enforcement. It is a higher calling to protect and serve others- I understand the pride and the sacrifice. Families: thank you for your sacrifice. May the memories of these brave men be eternal.
