Submit a Blog Article

  • We welcome blog submissions! If you are unfamiliar with our topics or submission guidelines, click here to review those. When you are ready to submit your article go ahead and follow the steps below to get started.
  • By submitting you certify this is your work, original, and any excerpts of other work are cited and Fair Use or public domain. By submitting you give The Stories Between “use rights” forever. That said, you can use our edited and published article with credit and link in any publication that you own or control—i.e. your personal site. You can re-publish your Stories Between article elsewhere online only if: 1) you change the text by 20%; 2) you significantly change the first paragraph; 3) you change your title meaningfully; 4) you do not use our edits (use your draft); and 5) you link back to where it initially appeared on The Stories Between. If in print, you can publish our version with prominent credit if you ask for permission. You also certify that any photos submitted are yours or you have permission from the photographer to use them. If a photo credit is needed please send that along.

If this article has been previously published elsewhere, you hold the rights but The Stories Between can have "free to use" rights in perpetuity. Also, you have re-edited and changed the title and article itself significantly (except if noted that your material is an excerpt from a book.)
